Refund & Cancellation Policy

Rafter is $19 per month. You can cancel any time, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period. New subscribers may request a full refund within 14 days of their first payment.
1. Subscription Terms
Rafter is offered as a monthly subscription at $19 per month. Your subscription renews automatically each month on the same calendar date as your original purchase unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Your $19 subscription includes access to all document types — bids, proposals, job hazard analyses, toolbox talks, safety checklists, change orders, daily site logs, punch lists, and more — along with voice input and company branding.
2. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel:
- Visit your account settings within the Rafter app and select Cancel Subscription, or
- Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account and request cancellation.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to Rafter until that date. After the period ends, your account will be downgraded and document generation will no longer be available, though previously saved documents remain accessible for 30 days.
We do not charge cancellation fees.
3. Refunds
New subscriber guarantee
If you are a first-time subscriber and are not satisfied with Rafter, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial payment. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your account email and a brief description of the issue. Refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days and returned to the original payment method.
Renewals and subsequent charges
After the 14-day new subscriber window, monthly subscription charges are non-refundable. We do not issue pro-rated refunds for unused portions of a billing period.
Billing errors
If you believe you were charged in error — for example, due to a duplicate charge, a charge after a confirmed cancellation, or an incorrect amount — please contact us within 60 days of the charge at [email protected]. Verified billing errors are refunded in full.
Promotional and trial periods
From time to time, Rafter may offer promotional pricing or free trial periods. The specific refund terms for any such offer will be stated at the time of sign-up. Where not otherwise specified, this general policy applies.
4. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you have a concern about a charge, we strongly encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved quickly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in the suspension of your account while the dispute is under review.
5. Account Data After Cancellation
After your subscription ends, your account data (saved documents and company profile) is retained for 30 days, after which it may be permanently deleted. If you resubscribe within that window, your data will be restored. You may request immediate deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected].
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through a notice in the application at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of Rafter after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
